An Ethical Toolbox for Engineers

Biography: James Klagge is a Professor of Philosophy at VT, where he has taught since 1985. He got his PhD at UCLA. Klagge has taught dozens of courses on ethics, and is currently teaching a course on Ethics and Autonomous Vehicles. His research is on the philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein (1889-1951) who had an undergraduate degree in Engineering and did graduate work in Aeronautics. Wittgenstein also patented a propeller design for a helicopter in 1911.
