Biography

Nick Bedard is an Assistant Professor of Practice and the Undergraduate Laboratories Manager in the Department of Engineering Education. In his current role he is responsible for the operation and development of the Frith First Year Makers(pace) and the ID@ENGE Capstone facilities. As a lifelong maker, Nick has seen the benefits of hands-on learning; and he uses this role as an opportunity to promote that for the engineering students. His main interests are accumulating useful equipment, meaningful training, and experienced staff to serve the next generations of Hokie Engineers. He looks forward to welcoming you to the lab with a "Be Safe, Have Fun!"
